I’m once again playing with writing web versions of random fantasy name generators. Here is one I wrote using various names I found from the Greyhawk game world of Dungeons & Dragons.

Dice Roller
Years ago, I wrote an app that simulates various types of dice rolls common to table-top role-playing games (TTRPGs). I know this is probably not useful to anyone, but I wrote it as an exercise to hone my skills in web programming.
Idea Lab
The concept of an Idea Lab is to gather together all of the tools for coming up with ideas and brainstorming into one web workspace. I would also create my own tools by writing web apps to randomly generate ideas or aid in the brainstorming process.
Interesting Notes on the Taiwanese Language
Although I’ve lived in the US all my life and don’t look very Asian, I can speak the Taiwanese dialect of Chinese conversationally with very little accent. Here are some interesting things I’ve picked up about the Taiwanese language.
Family Cookbook: Ramen Stir-fry
Ramen stir-fry is my teenage daughter’s favorite family dish. It’s basically ramen noodles without the soup, served up with lots of chicken and vegetables as a comfort food dinner.
